What you get: -Choice of Black or Silver Belly Color Rabbit Fur Felt Hat that will used for class to make your own hat -Black, Tan, or Grey Hat Band -Black or Brown Sweatband -Head Measured for Custom Sizing -Custom Brim Block Cut On Site to Your Custom Measurement -Vendor List for Hat Supplies and Materials -10% off 3-D Hat Makers Beginner's Tool Kit from one of our preferred vendors(to be ordered after completion of class) Class Agenda: -History of the hat making - How hat bodies are made - Introduction to hat making, tools and equipment -The step by step process of creating a fedora including; *Head Measuring *Blocking your hat to your custom size *Pouncing(Sanding of down hat) *Sewing in of sweatband *Cutting your brim to size * Attaching your headband *Crown shaping(Tear Drop, Center Crease only) Learn the art of hat making and the hat wearing culture and leave with information and resources to start making your own custom hats Class duration: 4 hours - Saturday, 10a-2pm and 4 hours - Sunday, 10a-2pm *CLASS IS TWO DAYS BECAUSE YOUR HAT NEEDS 24HRS TO DRY Class size: Maximum 6 students Experience level: Beginners Inquiries: email us at whatshatn@nathanmasonhats.com ---------------------------------------- Refreshments are served at no additional cost. ---------------------------------------- NOTE: Full amount of class is due before July 31 2023. We will not accept partial payments, deposits or entertain payment plans for the class. We do offer AfterPay for the class. There will be NO REFUNDS if you are unable to make the class. The cost paid can go toward the next class(TBD) or towards a custom hat once the production que opens back up in January 2024. If WE have to cancel for any reason we will refund you the cost of the class.
